Because we believe skills enhancement is vital to a player’s development, we are pleased to be initiating a weekly Skills and Drills component to our spring season. Over the ten week session our top level coaches will host skills sessions to improve player’s ability as they prepare for the summer tournament season. We will focus on the following skill sets:
Ground balls ·Proper throwing and catching techniques · In game positioning ·Shot accuracy… and much more!

Carol Rappoli joined Wizards NESLL as the Girls Recruitment Coordinator after 28 years as the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Tufts University, where she was Responsible for all organization and administrative for the NCAA Division III Lacrosse program. There she recruited and coached 42 National All – Americans, 55 Regional All- Americans, 20 NESCAC conference selections and left with 265 wins (.68 winning percentage) … the most successful Women’s Lacrosse coach in Tufts history. In that 28 years, Carol’s teams made 2 NCAA tournament appearances (2009 – finishing 5thand 2011 – finishing 9th) and was named 2009 and 2013 NESCAC Coach of the Year as well as 2009 Regional Coach of the year. Carol’s teams were ECAC Champions 1986, 1987, 1989, 1990, 1995. Prior to Tufts, Carol was the Head Lacrosse Coach at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY from 1980-1985 with 50 wins (.69 winning percentage) and 2 AIAW National Championship appearances, finishing 4th in each year1981, 1982. Prior to Colgate, Carol was Head Field Hockey and Lacrosse Coach at Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA.
Jenni Arthur is the Wizards NESLL Director of Girls Youth Lacrosse and has been with NESLL since 2010. Jenni currently coaches Barnstable High School Girl's Varsity team after taking over the helm for the Lady Raiders in 2013. She took a team that had won only 2 games in the previous season and concluded her inaugural season with a 10-6-1 record. Barnstable clinched its first ever MIAA bid to the state tournament where they faced NDA in the first round. Jenni graduated from Syracuse University where she was a member of the Syracuse Women’s Lacrosse Team. During her time at Syracuse, the Orange were ranked in the top 10 for NCAA Division 1 women’s teams in the country. Jenni was named a Big East Academic All-Star for the Spring of her Sophomore year, and during her collegiate career she was nominated by head coach Lisa Miller to represent the women’s lacrosse team at a leadership training course through the athletic department. During her summers in college, Jenni coached at a variety of lacrosse camps through New England including those hosted by: Player’s Choice, MaxLax, Xcel, Syracuse University, and Amherst College. Jenni went on to receive her Master's from Boston University School of Medicine in Medical Nutrition Science.
Matt Noone has been with the NESLL program for many years as High School practice and skills coordinator and head coach after growing up on Long Island in the 1980s playing lacrosse for MacArthur High School. He moved on to play for Richie Speckmann at Nassau Community College, where he was an All-American. After a couple more years at UMass-Amherst and playing in a showcase North/South game, Noone began a coaching odyssey that began as an assistant at Nassau which later brought him to Foxboro where he helped start the Foxboro Youth Lacrosse program and is the current head coach at Foxboro High School.
Marcus Young is the Wizards NESLL Director of Boys High School Lacrosse after being with the program for over ten years. Marcus joined the Gordon college athletic department in the fall of 2012 and is a graduate of Syracuse University. Marcus has spent the last 13 years working on the North Shore as an educator and since the summer of 2000, Marcus has been coaching lacrosse year round. In addition to serving as the boy’s varsity head coach at the Brookwood School. In the offseason, Marcus runs private clinics and works with several camps including the Boston Cannons and Origin Lacrosse.
