NESLL Spring Season

The spring lacrosse season is the core product of the New England Select Lacrosse League. Two divisions – NESLL-Elite for the top, elite level players; and NESLL-Select for the talented players that do not make the “Elite” level, PLUS “Town Select” teams.   For more information about the NESLL Town Select Program click here – NESLL – Town Select League

The spring leagues will feature Boys U11, U13, Boys U15, Girls U11, U13 and Girls U15 divisions. Regional teams will be formed in with players from Eastern and Western Massachusetts, Southern NH, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

Teams are selected through a series of fall regional tryouts, where each prospective candidate needs to attend one of the sessions. NESLL will utilize a pool of judges comprised of coaches and players from the professional, college and high school ranks, supplemented with knowledgeable lacrosse parents. The players will be judged on series of skills and game situation drills. Based on the judges scoring, the organizers will form team rosters at the Boys U11, U13, Boys U15, Girls U11, U13 and Girls U15 levels.

Teams are selected and announced by the end of September. Those players selected will have the opportunity to participate in a series of NESLL Clinics over the course of the winter. The NESLL Spring season will begin on March 31st and conclude with the NESLL Play-off Jamboree in early June.
